Grouplus.live

Grouplus.live is a modern team management website that focuses on improving the team experience for players and coaches alike. I created the website using JS, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap on the front-end, NodeJS for the server, and PostgreSQL for the database. It is hosted through AWS. In brief, the website allows sports coaches to interact with their players off the field more effectively. The given picture shows how users can upload files to the site. After being sent to the server, these files are stored using Amazon’s S3 cloud storage.

An iOS app that lets people effortlessly combine photos to create videos showing their change and growth over time. Import images that you already have or take new photos every day. Stitch selected photos together to build beautiful time-lapse videos of yourself, family, pets, friends, and environment. Unlike other apps on the App Store, PictureStory centers your images so that you don’t have to worry about taking the perfect photo every time. The app enables seamless transitions between photos, and produces stunning artistic videos in seconds.

Anomalous.be

A website that challenges people to think differently. I created Anomalous.be using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap on the front-end, NodeJS for the server, and MongoDB, Redis for the long-term and temporary storage as well as WebSockets to make the game real-time. It is hosted through AWS and can be accessed upon request. The purpose of the website is to push players to think in a different manner than their competitors. Effectively, it is a live quiz game where the questions have no predetermined correct answer. Instead, the correct answer is decided based on which solution is chosen by the least number of people currently playing the game.

iOS Games

Developed three games available on the iOS app store. Each game taught me different development principles and skills. Creating Swirll I learned about geometric and trigonometric algorithms as all game elemnts are dynamically generated and all physics calculations are done without external libraries. Creating 200° I attempted to design a visually appealing and clean user interface, as prior I was not happy with my projects visuals. Creating BlockMaze I desgined and built the Maze generation algorithms and learned to integrate my own algorithms into my projects.

Intelligent group maker

The Intelligent Group Maker is a group creation desktop application that runs on an algorithm I designed to create groups from sets of probabilities. Users of the software can create groups with numerous preferences, providing advantages over commonly used random group creators. Additionally, settings exist that allow the user to create groups that decrease the chance that people will be in a group together twice. I made my group creation software using Java and JavaFX, and released it publicly on GitHub as a desktop application for Mac.

WPGA Schedule App

A free phone application that allows students to organize and view their schedules in a simple and dependable manner. Over a three year period, I first created and then updated the app numerous times adding features including automatic scheduling updates, a today extension, and low-cellular mode. The app is still used consistently today by nearly every student, teacher, and administrator at my school. In total, the app has been used well over a million times and has elimanated a decade long school issue where students would often miss class due to confusion caused by the 15-day rotating schedule.
